OCEANS OF SADNESS: 'Pride And Shame' Video Posted Online
April 26, 2007Belgian progressive metallers OCEANS OF SADNESS have issued the following update:
"We recorded a brand new video clip for 'Pride and Shame', one of the songs on the new 'Mirror Palace' album. The video was directed by Mirko Cocco, a great Dutch director who has already made videos and DVDs for bands like AFTER FOREVER and EPICA, so this is a great honour for us! Check out the video at www.oceansofsadness.com. 'Mirror Palace' is released by Scarlet Records (IT) and should be available everywhere by now.
"Today we also got confirmation that OCEANS OF SADNESS will again hit the almighty stage of Graspop Metal Meeting (Belgium) on Sunday, June 24th. This is already the fourth time that OCEANS OF SADNESS performs on this fest so like in the past you can expect nothing but real mayhem in front of the stage!"
OCEANS OF SADNESS recently posted its cover version of ALICE IN CHAINS' "Them Bones" on its MySpace page. The track comes off "Mirror Palace", which was produced by Jens Bogren (OPETH, KATATONIA, AMON AMARTH) at Fascination Street Studio in Örebro, Sweden and features 10 tracks. Also available on the group's MySpace page is a clip of the song "Intoxicate Me", plus a full-length version of the track "Mould".
OCEANS OF SADNESS' third full-length album, "Send In the Clowns", was released in 2005. The follow-up to 2002's "Laughing Tears * Crying Smile" was recorded at Midas Studio in Lokeren, Belgium with producer Tony De Block and was mastered by Attie Bauw (JUDAS PRIEST, GOREFEST, CHANNEL ZERO).
